1996. Topsail Schooner “Malcolm Miller” – Spitzbergen

RKJ teamed up with the Financial Times to charter this 150 foot schooner and sail, with paying crew, to Spitzbergen. 12 miles of brash ice had to be passed through to get into Isfjord, and the vessel spent 3 days exploring within the fjord before sailing out through the ice for the return voyage.
